Update July 2006: Demolition is nearly finished, and the house has a definite "open air" feel about it. Before laying the new roof, the construction team will complete the electrical installations and rebuild the rear wall of the kitchen. From the street, apart from the debris, it almost looks as if nothing has happened, but my neighbors know otherwise!
