Update August 2006: Getting there ... now mostly into construction instead of demolition. The rear kitchen wall has reappeared, and the roof is in progress (no "before" pics from the top, sorry!) In the living room, plaster has been stripped from the lower portion of the walls in order to repair existing salt damage and apply treatment to retard it in future.
